Gift, a highly anticipated independent game co-published by Bushiroad Inc., Toydium, and Million Edge, will be released on Steam on May 8, 2024. It features heart-pounding action, on which Players can expect an exhilarating encounter in this dramatic 3D side-scrolling game that will have them on the tip of their seats.

Bushiroad is a Japanese entertainment company that specializes in creating collectible card games, trading cards, mobile apps, promotional items, and more. The company was founded in 2007 by Takaaki Kidani and is headquartered in Tokyo. They have previously worked on titles such as Ginka, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Burst Forth, and Elrentaros Wanderings.

What is the Gift game about?

In Gift, the game, you will be the protagonist who finds a sinking luxury cruise ship. (This is kinda scary, but you might try to convince yourself you can go ahead without any hurry!) Now, you need to find, test and show your skills and abilities to survive the difficult conditions under the sea. So, on your way, you will be able to know different characters, with their own pains and struggles. Besides, during this crazy and mysterious experience, you will become an expert in navigating and escaping water levels, tilting decks, and unforeseen obstacles. So, get ready to become a true undersea survivor and prove to yourself you can go through and overcome each level and unexpected surprises that will come along the way.

The uncertainty, is now part of your life, but you might think «where danger lurks around every corner and survival is the ultimate goal». As time passes, by, the sinking ship becomes more than just a vessel—it’s a battleground where wit and resilience are your greatest allies.

Even though the adventure might seem a huge challenge for your character, because he is trapped in this environment and obviously being trapped in a sinking ship is not an ideal scenario, you have a great motivation that might help you to go ahead, despite the fear, obstacles and dangers on every corner!
